Matrixyl® 3000 (3%)
A pair of signalling peptides — palmitoyl tripeptide-1 and palmitoyl tetrapeptide-7 — used to support the skin's own collagen and help maintain elasticity.
Panthenol 1%
Provitamin B5. It holds water in the skin barrier and buffers the dryness and flaking retinoids can bring on — which is what makes nightly use manageable.
Niacinamide
Vitamin B3, high in the ingredient list. Works on tone, visible pore size and barrier strength, and pairs well with retinal to keep irritation down.
How to Use
New to retinoids? Apply every other night for the first two weeks, then build up to nightly as your skin adjusts. 1. Cleanse and tone as usual. 2. Dispense a small amount and apply evenly over the face, avoiding the eye area. 3. Follow with your night moisturiser. 4. Always apply sunscreen the next morning — retinal increases sun sensitivity. A mild tingling on application is normal. Patch test first if your skin is sensitive, and reduce frequency if irritation occurs.
